Dude Perfect Discovers Andros

The wild forests and waters of Andros were the scenic backdrop for an adventure video produced by one of Youtube’s most popular channels.

Dude Perfect, the Youtube channel with more than 60 million subscribers, descended on Central Andros for an action-packed competition. The show, described as Island Survival Games, featured three teams of two that competed in various challenges.

The Andros show was the second video filmed by Dude Perfect in The Bahamas within a month's span. The Island Survival Games debuted on the Dude Perfect channel on June 29, 2024. Within 48 hours, it had more than 3.5 million views.

The Bahamas’ locations are more diverse than many people would think, said Clarence Rolle, Commissioner of the Bahamas Film & Television Commission.

“Andros is the largest island in The Bahamas, but it is also the fifth largest island in the entire Caribbean,” he said. “It is huge, but has barely 8,000 people living there. So, filming on Andros is like having an infinite backlot, where filming can actually be done on location with little to no concern over interruptions.”
