Bad Monkey showcases good Bahamas scenery
A new series with Bahamas scenery premiered on Apple TV on August 14, and the show has been a hit with viewers.
Bad Monkey, starring Vince Vaughn, is based on the Carl Hiaasen novel. According to Collider Magazine, a week after its premiere, it sits atop the streaming charts and boasts a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
“It’s safe to say people are loving it,” said Collider.
Bad Monkey’s story is set substantially in Florida. However, the show captured the scenery of The Bahamas as well, inserting several Bahamas establishing shots and exteriors into the final edit of the season.
Bahamian actor, Ronald Peet, is also featured in the season. He plays the Bahamian character, Neville Stafford, and appears in three episodes of Season 1. Meanwhile, Bahamian film veteran, Cornelius McKinney of Galaxy Productions, coordinated the Bahamas filming for the television show.
