Air Transport Licensing

Application- Drone Operation

Air Transport Permits are granted under S.I. 62/1988; S.I. 105/1976, Civil Aviation Act, Chapter 284, Civil Aviation (Licencing of Air Services) Regulations, (Section 5), [Commencement 7th October, 1976].

Application must be read in its entirety prior to entering information.

Section (1) - PARTICULARS ON OPERATOR OWNER
SECTION (2) - PARTICULARS ON DRONE
SECTION (3) - DOCUMENTS NEEDED TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION
SECTION (4) - REQUESTED ROUTE OF FLIGHT AND DATE/ TIME

For a drone permit, please submit:

SECTION (5) - HANDLING AGENCY OR LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE IN THE BAHAMAS
SECTION (6) - FEE

Fees associated with Drone (U.A.S) use is calculated at $80.00 per Drone/ U.A.S and $80 per location of use for each Drone/ U.A.S per day

SECTION (7) - NOTE

Drone air operations within the Commonwealth of The Bahamas without prior written approval is strictly prohibited.
